These days food security is a very important topic, but how can an island like Aruba with an arid climate sustainably grow fresh local produce for its entire community? Goshen started in 2017 with the determination to connect people back to our local food source and teach them about our cultural heritage.
As a social impact business our mission is to connect people back to the value of our land, thereby promoting our quest for food sovereignty. We grow local endemic produce; we educate people from every generation about the nutritional benefits and how to cook from the farm to the table. We encourage people to rediscover new ways of preparing locally grown produce.
We collaborate closely with health coaches and international chefs who have the same vision, so this way we can all contribute to the same cause: connecting people with the origin of their food again to inspire a healthy lifestyle.
Furthermore, Goshen is a social impact business in the way that it contributes to the Aruban community. A part of its profits will be used for social projects initiated by HopeAruba, a foundation which helps the citizens of Aruba with collective solutions providing vision, structure and practical actions.
HopeAruba believes in an Aruba where prosperity is co-created, shared and sustainable. With this belief at the core of its activities, HopeAruba is a Civic Movement that aspires to engage all of our community to be a part of the change we so long to see in many aspects of our nation’s development.
Help us to continue making positive changes by donating to HopeAruba. Thanks to your contribution, we are able to support people in need of help.
